Curatorial Statement


Fishy-Oneness is a collaborative virtual gallery exhibition started by 8 talented SCA students. The theme of our exhibition is a flawed perception, featuring the art of disguises, masks and characters. The dungeon site is a perfect environment to display the works of these artists due to the historical nature and the mysterious ambience.

The exhibition is taking place in the main corridor of the dungeons. It was chosen because it clearly had the essence of a fishy-oneness; it's open, spacious and is easily accessible. The dark and dull walls will be transformed into clean white walls. The content of the artists' works are quite varied, each relating to our singular theme.

Fishy-Oneness galleries is a gallery that doesn't take itself too seriously but enjoys the fun and mystery behind each character. May the Oneness be with you.

As an artist i've always had some form of dual personalities in my artworks,
on the one hand my etchings and designs will be meticulously etched, the the finest details taken into account, and then the next artwork will be (while still maintaining some attention to detail) will be an immature/ comical artwork. (be it an actual comic strip, animation, or screen print.)
This art-practice allows me to keep a steady stream of ideas and allows me to never to get to dug down in any particular artwork at any one time.
Larger than life characters and homage to the greats of the past are what i specialize in, but who knows what tommorow will bring.
