Curatorial Statement


Fishy-Oneness is a collaborative virtual gallery exhibition started by 8 talented SCA students. The theme of our exhibition is a flawed perception, featuring the art of disguises, masks and characters. The dungeon site is a perfect environment to display the works of these artists due to the historical nature and the mysterious ambience.

The exhibition is taking place in the main corridor of the dungeons. It was chosen because it clearly had the essence of a fishy-oneness; it's open, spacious and is easily accessible. The dark and dull walls will be transformed into clean white walls. The content of the artists' works are quite varied, each relating to our singular theme.

Fishy-Oneness galleries is a gallery that doesn't take itself too seriously but enjoys the fun and mystery behind each character. May the Oneness be with you.

The work i did which down the dungeon of the SCA. in this art work, i used door, light and candy papers. also used a bit photoshop to put eye in the middle of the door. the eye was represented the patient who lives down there in the past. the eye looks so scary, feel like patient is watching you. in the other hand, the surface of the door looks so colorful and hopeful. the candy papers represent the sweetness and happiness. it is completely different word inside dungeon and outside dungeon.
